The City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs produces the MOJA Arts Festival annually in partnership with the MOJA Planning Committee, an all-volunteer community arts and cultural group. The MOJA Arts Festival combines African-American and Caribbean influences with music, lectures, stage performances, tours, concerts, art exhibits, and more.

The Edisto Blackwater Boogie is a festival all about celebrating the Edisto River. Funds raised from the Boogie go to the creation of an ADA trail along the river bluff.

The Edisto Blackwater Boogie is a weekend-long event taking place from October 27th to 29th, 2023. Camping is encouraged! Immerse yourself in the experience by camping out under the stars. Camper sites are available from Givhans Ferry State Park and offsite camping is also available.
